De Zerbi will certainly be hoping the goalkeeper can manage another clean sheet at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.In front of the young shot-stopper, we would love for the Spurs boss to maintain the back four that featured against Forest last weekend. That is a back four of Pedro Porro, Micky van de Ven, Jan Paul van Hecke and Destiny Udogie. This was the backline that helped Tottenham to a clean sheet last time out. In fact, four of these players are part of Tottenham’s top five performers in the Premier League so far this season.In midfield, we would love to see De Zerbi make a slight tweak to the midfield three he fielded last time out against Forest in this clash against Everton. Sandro Tonali does look to be improving with each passing game, and we would expect him to anchor the middle of the park once more. Rodrigo Bentancur, we believe, is key for Spurs given what he offers both on and off the ball. Fernandes missed out from the off against Forest for tactical reasons, with De Zerbi instead opting to rely on the experience of Conor Gallagher. Speaking about his decision to leave Fernandes out, the Spurs boss said: “I have experience to know enough what is this stadium. This stadium is England football and Gallagher he knows better this type of game. “Mateus will become for sure in my time at Tottenham one of the best players but I am lucky because I have many good players and I have to find the right first XI.”Tottenham are at home this time and need to play on the front foot against Everton. Fernandes has shown that he is capable of being that creative spark for Tottenham this season in the games he has played in as a number ten.Spurs attack needs a shake-upUp top, De Zerbi has options he can call on now, with Mohammed Kudus, Mykhailo Mudryk, Dominic Solanke, Omar Marmoush, Mathys Tel and Savio at his disposal.
