Rare Jūgi Event for GoldGOLD (US$/OZ)TVC:GOLDtroydowvanzandtKeep your eye on gold around the 29th. The blue lines are the Kihon-suchi or Basic numbers. The period up to Kihon-42 is a time lease for the bulls. If they're to establish a real trend, they're going to have to make a higher high in this timeframe. If they don't do it by Kihon-33, the odds decrease dramatically. I recently translated Hidenobu Sasaki's Ichimoku Kinko Studies in which he details an advanced time analysis called Kakugi. This involves taking a prior lease's timespan (the Kihon-kei) and shifting it over to the new one. The blue Kihon intervals are points in time you should be on the lookout for a Henka-bi or a day of change--a day on which a new trend might start. The Kakugi operation establishes a Hengi--an even more portentous point in time. When you have a Hengi that falls on a Kihon interval, it's a Jūgi. A Jūgi is an extremely rare confluence. I've seen charts with Jūgi events, and price can really rip from these points. There is also a confluence of a Kumo twist just before the 29th. This means there is basically no cloud to offer support should gold go down. Considering that buyers seem unlikely to do anything with their current lease, and price will most likely go down. If this happens around the 29th, it could really drop This, of course, presents opportunities to short gold ETFs and the miners. The end of September could be a non-event. But as Pasteur said, in matters of analysis, fortune favors the prepared mind.
