Student and youth associations demand impartial probe into ‘irregularities’ in DSC-2025 - The HinduPublished - September 08, 2026 10:25 pm IST - VIJAYAWADAStudent and youth organisations in the State have demanded a comprehensive and impartial inquiry into the alleged irregularities in the DSC-2025 recruitment, particularly the filling of teacher posts under the sports quota.Speaking at a press conference, All India Student Federation (AISF) State general secretary B. Naserji and All-India Youth Federation (AIYF) State general secretary Yugandhar alleged that fake sports certificates had been used to secure teacher posts. They demanded a comprehensive probe into the role of the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) and sports associations.They said candidates had raised several questions regarding the DSC examination, results, merit lists and selection process, but the government had failed to provide satisfactory answers. They also alleged that some candidates who had not qualified in TET were reportedly given teacher posts.The organisations demanded that every stage—notification, examination, results, merit lists and appointments—be made transparent. They sought a CBI inquiry into the entire recruitment process, saying the government should have no reason to hesitate if it had conducted the process fairly.In a statement, Student Federation of India (SFI) State president P. Rammohan and secretary K. Prasanna said serious allegations had been raised over the recruitment process and stressed that the government had a responsibility to establish the facts and place them before the public. They questioned the government’s claim that there were no irregularities while arrests had been made and inquiries ordered into certain incidents.They said lack of transparency in sports quota recruitment would cause serious injustice to unemployed candidates who had spent years preparing for competitive examinations and lakhs of rupees in the process.
