Morgan Rogers couldn’t believe that he didn’t get awarded Man of the Match after Chelsea’s 6-3 win over Leeds United in the Carabao Cup.The Blues were trailing 1-0 at half time in their delayed game before Xabi Alonso introduced Rogers, Cole Palmer and Pedro Neto at half time to totally flip the game.In the end, it turned into a great night for ChelseaGettyPalmer scored twice and Rogers grabbed FOUR assists, but it was the former who claimed the Man of the Match award.This led to a pretty hilarious argument live on Sky Sports between the pair.It started with Rogers, who said: “Mate, I got four assists! But I’ll say you should have had it.”To which Rogers responded: “Don’t mention me. I am just a bystander. There was a risk.“Things weren’t going the way we planned, so we had to change (at half-time). I take responsibility with the first half.“They knew they weren’t starting and they were ready to make an impact. I’m happy with the result and the reaction.”But he is pleased to see Palmer and Rogers linking up so nicely, adding: “For sure, it’s so important. To have a great chemistry between them. They enjoy assisting together. It’s important for the team.”
