GLiNER2 is a schema-conditioned encoder family for Named Entity Recognition, Text Classification, Structured Data Extraction, Relation Extraction, and span attributes. I've explored these models in the past for a log extraction/classification work with GLiNER2. It support multi NLP problems, while also being able to do things like NER recognition and extraction, which I don't is directly possible? (I maybe wrong, but do correct me if so). I like the idea of being able to use LLMs which have more knowledge when compared to the older model which fine-tuned for a task.
