Hi there guys, I know I may have posted an early version here, but BuildNotch is finally live. I started it because I wanted a Windows “Dynamic Island” that was actually useful for how I work. I’m a solo developer, but I’m also constantly switching between coding, music, projects, and trying to focus, so I built a little space at the top of my screen for all of that. It has GitHub activity, AI app detection, a code playground, focus timers, tasks, music controls, and a bunch of ways to make it your own. The video shows it much better than I can explain it tbf (btw made with Remotion). However, it's not meant just for devs, you are able to select a "Personal work" mode just for locking in and focus, and it removes code playground and the github profile, if you don't need them! Five people bought it in the first hour, and honestly I'm super excited and glad abt it, I'm really hoping it can grow more.
