This started as a little owl model I made in Blockbench for a friends Twitch stream. Then I kept thinking of ways to make him more interactive, and it turned into a full avatar app for my friend to use. The owl can react when someone follows, subscribes, or uses a chat command in Twitch. He also responds to microphone input, moving his beak and animating along with my friends voice so it looks like he's talking. Somewhere along the way, I added customizable outfits (which I want to keep adding more), different views, a cherry blossom perch with falling petals, and a bunch of reactions and animations. Definitely overengineered for what started as “here's a cute owl for your stream” but I had a lot of fun making it, and my friend loves it.
