Listed scorer Navassa Island heads the latest batch of quality mares added to the inaugural Chicquita Session at the Goffs November Breeding Stock SaleAmong the latest entries are three black-type mares from The Castlebridge Consignment in Navassa Island, Detailed and Goldana, while Baroda Stud will offer the Group 1 performer Flirting Bridge. The Michael O'Callaghan-trained Navassa Island, a daughter of Territories, is a Listed winner who was placed on three occasions at Group 3 level. An attractive racing and breeding prospect, she is a half-sister to Europe's champion two-year-old filly Lezoo, winner of the Group 1 Cheveley Park Stakes.Another Castlebridge offering is the Stakes-winning mare Detailed, who is the dam of Listed winner and multiple Group 3 placed Daytona. She will be offered in foal to leading sire Starman.Goldana will also be offered by The Castlebridge Consignment, and her impressive record includes victory in a Group 3 contest and two Listed races, alongside placings in Group 2, Group 3 and Listed company. She is offered in foal to last year's Irish Champion Stakes winner Delacroix.Bill Dwan of The Castlebridge Consignment said, “As the consignors of Chicquita at Goffs, it is fitting that we will sell a quality draft in the inaugural session named in her honour.
