However, Spurs were third in the list for pre-tax losses in the year 2025, with the club recording a £129m loss, behind only Lyon (£170m) and Chelsea (£342m).Norys has held his current role at Spurs for four years, joining after spells with Serie A side Roma and Major League Baseball’s Los Angeles Dodgers.He has now announced that he will leave Tottenham to take over as the chief commercial officer of MotoGP.However, the 41-year-old will have to serve a considerable notice period at the North London club before completing his move to the motorbike championshipNorys proud of what he achieved at SpursThe executive, on announcing his departure on social media, admitted that he is proud of what he has been able to achieve in his four years at the club.However, Norys held back on the goodbyes and thanking people, revealing that he will have a lot more to say when he fully completes his work at the club.Norys wrote on LinkedIn: “MotoGP Sports Entertainment Group has confirmed that I’ll be joining as Chief Commercial Officer, leading the global commercial business across partnerships, sponsorship, licensing, hospitality, marketing and digital.“I’m joining a leadership team taking shape under Carmelo and Carlos Ezpeleta González. Denitza Batchvarova, Sameer Pabari and Louise Young announced today alongside me, and I couldn’t ask for a stronger group to work alongside as we look to unlock the next chapter of growth for MotoGP. Until then, my focus remains firmly on Tottenham Hotspur, so the proper thank-yous can wait.“I am incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved together. Commercial revenue has grown 51 per cent. during my time at the Club an achievement that belongs to the talented people I’ve had the privilege of working alongside, both past and present.
