I live out in a dry part of the southwest and tumbleweeds are a massive nuisance here. They pile up against fences and block driveways. A few years ago I saw someone on Etsy selling a "rustic decorative tumbleweed" for 60 bucks. I thought it was a scam but I looked at their reviews and people were actually buying them for western themed weddings and indie film sets. So I started doing it too. I just drive around after a windy day, toss the good round ones in my truck, and list them online. Shipping is a massive pain because the boxes have to be huge but they weigh absolutely nothing. The post office workers always look at me like I am insane. I literally pull over on the highway to grab trash bushes and sell them to interior designers in Brooklyn or set designers in LA. The raw material is completely free and practically delivers itself to my front yard.
