He made four passes into the final third, and three successful crosses.In total, the 32-year-old created three chances for Scotland across the 90 minutes, giving him an Expected Assist (xA) of 0.29.Robertson also contributed defensively, completing seven ball recoveries, making one headed clearance, one tackle and one interception. The Tottenham man won four out of his seven ground duels and all three aerial duels he contested.Robertson is convinced Spurs will have a good seasonHaving spent 9 successful seasons at Anfield, the feeling of playing in a side struggling to win games this season will be unusual for the left-back.However, Robertson has insisted that he has seen positives in Tottenham’s recent performances, and is confident that results will improve for the club as soon as they get their first win.In his recent appearance on the Stick to Football podcast, the Scotland international said: “I think the last couple of weeks have been positive, without getting positive results. The Forest draw was a fair result. I think we should have beat Everton, and we could be sitting here on more points.“But Newcastle, for 60 minutes, it was an even game. The goal, like I’m talking about, we conceded and everyone, the whole stadium [you feel it].
