I totally get what OP was throwing down. But I personally have been treated real weird by office staff for requiring quotes before agreeing to treatments. I am lucky enough to have good credit options to pay for my dental work, but I also understand those that do not. Dental insurance is bullshit for both the patient and the dentist and most of my work is paid out of pocket.
