Personally, I love having items that are exclusive, but I hate missing exclusive items. Only I'm allowed to have exclusive items guys!!! /j 🙄🙄🙄 It just seems very unfair and unwelcoming to new players. Why should they be locked from having so many staples when they just start the game ? Do we want them to be naked??? And you know people are always hating on the poor glamouristas but it's just like what do you want them to do? They don't have these gorgina code items. 😭 And TO BE FAIR. Some exclusive items are disgusto and things that I would never use. And some things (like the petal dress) are bugged forever bc dti hates everyone apparently. But some things are actually super useful (4BILLION top, LNY snake accessories). I like exclusivity to some extent. I don't think it's fair to tell players: "You can never ever EVER get this item again. You HAVE to complete this incredibly hard quest to get this item or else you WILL end up homeless." and then bring it back later with an easier quest. (Referring to the classic dress everyone's up in arms about.) "Maybe we should make items similar to the exclusive items so that we can still have exclusivity but also give new players an alternative!" Omg yes queen I agree that's SUCH a great idea! I agree- wait what's that? Oh SOME (See that word, "some"?) of y'all would HATE that idea. There have been certain alternative items for vip items that were put in the regular section (I can't think of very many but 1 is the star/triangle toggles for those earrings) that were released and so many people hated it. They felt like there was no point in having VIP anymore if the f2p people get the items anyways. (Which I feel like y'all just don't understand how many gorgina items VIP gives and how limiting f2p is. (F2P means free to play by the way. Meaning: people who haven't spent any money. Just in case you didn't know.) To summarize: I don't think exclusivity is inherently bad, however I think it creates an unwelcoming environment.
