Five puppies have been taken in by the Association for Abandoned Animals after arriving at the sanctuary covered in fleas and ticks.The puppies came from a farm and were brought to the shelter in two boxes. Thankfully, they are now safe and receiving the care they need.They are not yet available for adoption, with the organisation giving them time to settle in and undergo veterinary checks before finding them homes.The association also confirmed that the puppies’ mothers have already been neutered in an effort to prevent further unwanted litters.With the shelter facing a non-stop intake of dogs, the organisation is appealing for donations to help cover their ongoing care.Here’s hoping these five little ones find their forever homes soon.•
