Armed police were called to Marsaskala after a dispute between neighbours reportedly sparked by a pair of shoes led to a tense police response. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Lovin Malta (@lovinmalta)The incident happened at around 10pm on Monday 21st September in Triq il-Blajjiet, with footage sent to Lovin Malta showing members of the Rapid Intervention Unit with their firearms drawn.Police had reportedly received initial information suggesting that one of the people involved may have been armed, prompting the armed response.However, subsequent investigations established that no weapon had been used, while the dispute remained verbal and nobody was injured.Police say investigations remain ongoing.•
