War Room founder and host Steve Bannon spoke with guest Captain James Fanell about the CCP’s threat to the United States.CCP leader Xi Jinping was in the United States to meet with President Trump at the White House this past week.“I consider you one of the leaders, what I call the rational side of the equation, the rational side of the table about the Chinese Communist Party and what they really are and what their intents are,” Bannon said to Captain Fanell.“By the way, this thing came was mainly optics. I think the entire business part of the meeting was around an hour,” Bannon said.“The optics are what the optics are,” Bannon continued.“Your thoughts, sir?” Bannon asked Captain Fanell.“This is a historic moment in time, and this idea that the press, the few networks, can control what comes out of our White House, our White House, by these non-elected press entities that are opposed to President Trump’s vision or anything that they don’t agree with. That’s got to end,” Fanell said.Bannon explained the difference between media outlets like Real America’s Voice and the Legacy media. With an outlet like RAV, there is commentary, but they try to show the entire story. Contrast that with so many of these other media outlets, which curate the story so they can continually badmouth President Trump.“In our commentary and analysis about what we think is really going on is added on to it, but you got to show it. What they want to do is cut it all off and then just have their opinions, which is ‘Trump is terrible, Trump is awful,'” Bannon said.“It is relentless, and it’s a sickness. Something has taken over this legacy media that’s worse than it’s ever been, and it’s going to get worse in the runup to the midterm elections,” Bannon continued.“Your assessment of what you saw the last couple of days and the meaning of it, sir?” Bannon asked.“I’m not a fan of having Xi here. I don’t like the Chinese Communist Party for their ideology, what they stand for.
