She was a legendary former defender and long-serving captain who led Tottenham up through the leagues and into the full-time professional era as members of the Women’s Super League.Chris, who sits 15th on Tottenham’s all‑time appearance list, dedicated 25 years to the club as a player, coach, and assistant manager, was also present. Bobby, who was part of the small group of boys that famously gathered under a lamppost on Tottenham High Road 144 years ago to establish the club, also earned his place on the wall.Jenna Schillaci, who becomes the first-ever female inductee, captained Tottenham Hotspur during their rise from the lower divisions to the Women’s Super League. She broke through as a 16-year-old at Spurs, before leaving for QPR after just one season. She then returned in 2009 to play another 11 years with her beloved Lilywhites.Following the ceremony, Spurs confirmed that the Hall of Fame wall will be located near the players’ tunnel, with plaques for each inductee made available for supporters to enjoy as part of the club’s behind‑the‑scenes stadium tours.Hall of Fame recognition vital for Spurs cultureIt is undoubtedly a positive initiative for Tottenham to recognise the efforts of those who have given their all to the club. Such recognition helps build a culture of players willing to fight for the badge, knowing their contributions will be remembered. In recent times, Spurs have lacked such fighters, and the Hall of Fame initiative could inspire the current squad to develop that spirit.Still, some of Tottenham’s greats have not yet been included, including modern-day stars such as Harry Kane, Heung-min Son, Gareth Bale and Hugo Lloris.READ MORE: How Roberto De Zerbi’s points-per-game compares to past Tottenham managersThe post Tottenham Hotspur reveals where new Hall of Fame gallery wall is located at the stadium appeared first on Spurs Web.
