A new Rs 2,300 crore e-methanol plant will be established in Kandla to produce green fuel. This plant is a partnership between Deendayal Port Authority and Assam Petro-Chemicals, aimed at enhancing cleaner shipping. The project is expected to create over 3,500 jobs and foster a green energy value chain in the region.
