Two tiny hedgehogs rescued separately in Gozo have found an unlikely friendship while recovering together.Kenuna and Dobbie were both rescued last week, with Kenuna found in Nadur near Kenuna Tower and Dobbie discovered in Għarb.According to Nature Trust Malta, both hoglets weighed less than 60 grams when they were found, making them far too small to survive independently.Despite arriving separately, the pair have quickly become inseparable and are now keeping each other company as they grow.Kenuna and Dobbie will remain in rehabilitation until they reach a healthy weight and are ready to live independently in the wild, at which point they can be released.Nature Trust also reminded the public that the wildlife it rescues includes protected species which cannot legally be harmed or kept as pets, urging anyone who encounters an animal injured or in danger to contact trained wildlife rescuers.Found separately, growing together.•
