Tyson Fury has said he tinkered with his Anthony Joshua fight contract to pave the way for Dana White’s involvement.The long-awaited heavyweight blockbuster between Fury and Joshua was announced this week, with the British stars set to throw down at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on December 11.Fury admires White and wants him involved in his fight against Joshua in DecemberAFPAfter months of speculation about White’s involvement, a Netflix press release said the UFC CEO was co-promoting the fight alongside Saudi boxing chief Turki Alalshikh.However, Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn has shut down the idea of White, who entered the sweet science this year under the Zuffa Boxing banner, promoting the event in any capacity.Hearn ripped into White in his first words since AJ vs Fury was announced, calling his rival promoter a ‘silly’ loser.He said ‘Netflix clearly didn’t get the memo,’ adding he will ‘remind them of contractual obligations’ ahead of next week’s scheduled press conference in London.White, who runs Zuffa Boxing with Alalshikh under the ownership of TKO Group Holdings — the parent company of UFC and WWE — has yet to comment on his role since his fight was announced.But Fury is more than happy for him to be involved.Fury wants White promoting Joshua fight“In Joshua’s contract, apparently, it says that TKO and Dana couldn’t be involved,” Fury told FurociTV.“That was [also] in mine, but I took it out.
