Actor Priyanka Nair has been appointed as the vice-chairperson.Actor Salim Hassan and filmmaker Jofin T. Chacko have been appointed as executive committee members. The appointments at the top of the academy and the complete reconstitution of the executive committee and general council comes after a delay of over four months since the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) took charge.The general council members are Deepu Karunakaran, Vaikom Vijayalekshmi, M.V. Gireesh Kumar, Salim Hassan, B. Rakesh, Sajeevan Anthikkad, Zakariya, R.S.
