A lot of people weren't sure whether to be impressed or horrified by my floor rig for testing all sorts. It's finally about to get a proper new home, with better cooling, proper wiring and something resembling sensible cable management. So, before I dismantle it, here's the full system monstrosity in all its glory. There is a 24 and a 48gb titan hidden in there somewhere too EDIT : For the electricians having a meltdown, fine , ill explain a little more for those without electrical background here. you can comfortably run 10 Sparks continuously on each socket on different rings. The supply starts as a 32A inlet from a UK three-phase 400V supply, with phases distributed into 230V circuits and 13A outlets. At 230V, a 13A outlet is ~2,990W, and at ~270W per Spark, 10 Sparks are ~2.7kW or ~11.7A. So on my 3 phases, I can run up to 30 sparks. It may look chaotic, but I'm less of a noob with this stuff than it appears: I have thermal management, per-Spark load control, automatic shutdown, remote monitoring and extensive power telemetry, and it runs primarily from solar with continuous power-draw monitoring. :))). it just looks a mess as floor rig. They are now all moving to an underground location with even power power climate and its always 11 Degrees in temp naturally always. the new location is designed for setups much larger than this so all is well :) Ps thanks for everyone who stopped by to have a look :) Love the community submitted by /u/CanNeverPassCaptch [link] [comments]
