Hi everyone! I made Tim’s Markdown Reader because I spend a lot of time working with AI coding agents, and sometimes I just want to open the files they produce and read them without opening an editor. It’s written in Swift, free and open source, and works entirely offline, including Mermaid diagrams. It has search, links between Markdown files with back and forward navigation, and no accounts or telemetry. I’ve spent quite a bit of time refining it for public release while keeping it fast and minimal. It’s Developer ID-signed and notarized by Apple. Requires Apple silicon and macOS 14 or later.
