Uganda Police Force has confirmed that it has registered a case of suspected murder involving legendary Afrigo Band singer and veteran musician Papa Moi Moses Matovu.According to the latest police statement, a task force has been dispatched to the crime scene and is currently conducting investigations to establish the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.Police say efforts are also underway to identify and apprehend the suspected assailants responsible for the attack.Matovu was reportedly attacked in the morning of September 24, 2026, by unknown assailants at Kibuli Market Zone B in Makindye Division, Kampala District.Following the attack, he was rushed to Kibuli Hospital for medical attention.
