I built a stupidly simple time tracker with soft nudges Most time trackers I've used make tracking time feel like another task. Start a timer. Stop a timer. Pick a project. Add a description. Remember to log something you forgot three hours ago. I wanted something much simpler. So I built DotDotDone. It's a lightweight time tracker that keeps track of what you're working on and gives you soft nudges when you've been working for a while or when it's time to check in. The idea is not to constantly interrupt you or make productivity into a game. It's just enough friction to help you stay aware of where your time is going. I'm putting it out as a side project and looking for people who actually want to use it. https://dotdotdone.recaptured.in/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=sideproject&utm_campaign=r-sideproject If you use a time tracker, I'm curious: what's the one thing that makes you stop using it? submitted by /u/almost_imperfect [link] [comments]
