No injuries or casualties were reported in either incident.The first fire broke out in a moving private travel bus, headed towards Srisailam, near the Karmanghat Hanuman Temple. The Fire Department received the call at 2.13 a.m.“There were 38 passengers in the bus,” a fire official said. No passenger was injured.A multipurpose tender (MPT) from LB Nagar was the first to reach the spot, followed by a water tender from Malakpet. The fire was brought under control and the fire vehicles returned around 5 a.m.Hours later, at 5.34 a.m., the Fire Department received another call reporting a major fire at a G+2 building in Hayathnagar. The premises housed a plastic water bottle manufacturing unit.Three fire vehicles were rushed to the spot, including a water bowser from Hayathnagar, an MPT from LB Nagar and another water bowser from Malkajgiri.Fire officials at the spot said the blaze appeared to be of electrical origin.
