Anitha warns of action against YSRCP activists who tried to attack Physical Education Teachers - The HinduPublished - September 21, 2026 11:12 pm IST - VIJAYAWADAHome Minister Vangalapudi Anitha has warned of severe action against YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) activists who allegedly attempted to attack Physical Education Teachers (PETs) recruited through the Mega DSC.Ms. Anitha said it was unfortunate that some YSRCP leaders and activists used abusive language against the PETs during a protest at the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) office in Vijayawada on Monday.Meanwhile, the NTR Commissionerate police are trying to identify those who allegedly made provocative statements and attempted to attack the PETs during the protest.The police are examining CCTV footage to trace those who made objectionable comments during the dharna at the SAAP office.Central Zone Assistant Commissioner of Police K.
