Hiring Hi! I’m looking for a digital artist to help with ongoing D&D and fantasy character portrait commissions. The artwork will already be mostly developed by the time it reaches you. Your job is focused on the final refinement and QA stage, thing like : reviewing the piece against the client’s references and notes, making any necessary adjustments, and polishing everything so the finished artwork feels cohesive and complete. I’m mainly looking for someone with a very strong eye for detail. You should be good at noticing when something is missing from a clients brief, when a detail needs to be adjusted, or when an area could use some extra refinement / better render before the piece is considered finished. You will not be starting from a blank canvas. You’ll be working on pieces that already have a clear direction, composition, and are mostly polished. This is consistent ongoing freelance work, with new orders assigned based on availability and workload. Pay can typically be ~$60-$100+ per week, depending on order volume and how much work you take on + quality of your work. If you’re interested in joining the team, everyone first goes through a paid test project. You’ll receive an example piece along with the client details and references, and I’ll ask you to take it through the same type of final refinement you would be doing on regular orders. If the test is a good fit, you can then start receiving ongoing assignments. I’m specifically looking for someone who: - Has strong digital painting skills - Has excellent attention to detail - Can follow visual references and written instructions closely - Is comfortable working on fantasy / D&D characters - Can refine artwork while maintaining an established style - Is reliable with communication and deadlines - Is interested in regular ongoing work (some of our artists have been with us for over 4 years) If interested, message me with your portfolio (artstation preferred). Fantasy character work / dnd is preferred, but I’m open to any strong digital painting portfolio. Thanks for reading! submitted by /u/ConfusedBongoCat [link] [comments]
