Hi everyone, I'm an experienced Data Scientist / AI Engineer looking to work with small e-commerce businesses, Amazon sellers, Shopify stores, or DTC brands on a project or contract basis. I have 8+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years as a Data Scientist at a global 500 company. My background includes Python, SQL, data analytics, machine learning, AI/LLM applications, APIs, automation, and cloud development. I've built production AI/ML systems as well as automation that replaced multi-day manual workflows. I'm particularly interested in getting more hands-on exposure to e-commerce. I understand the fundamentals of the space, but I'm looking to work directly with real businesses and learn more about their day-to-day operations while applying my technical background. Some areas where I may be able to help: Automating repetitive Excel/reporting/data workflows Sales, customer, inventory, or marketing analysis Forecasting and data-driven decision support Dashboards and reporting Python/SQL/API integrations Identifying inefficient processes that could be automated I'm open to small projects, ongoing contract work, and flexible arrangements.
