The big announcement at Meta Connect 2026 is the spring 2027 release of Meta VR Glasses, a new VR device in a comfortable glasses form factor that Meta describes as "a cinema, workspace, and console in one." And from a gaming perspective, Meta's new device seems promising. Meta VR Glasses runs the same OS as Quest, and every Quest game will be playable on Meta VR Glasses. The primary SKU doesn't come with controllers, but bundles will be sold with controllers through some retail channels, and it works with Meta's Touch Plus controllers (which can be also purchased separately). Dual Destinies VR puts players in the shoes of the titular Ace Attorneys Phoenix Wright, Apollo Justice, and Athena Cykes, through whom you'll investigate immersive 3D crime scenes, build your case, and then take it to court. Hand-tracking gestures will allow you to present evidence, point at witnesses to catch them in lies, and voice-activation will hear when you shout "Objection!!" Tetris Effect: Mixed Realities is a hand-controlled, room-aware mixed reality version of Tetris Effect.
