Malta’s entry for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026 has officially been revealed, with 11-year-old Beppe set to perform a song titled Blue Bird.The song will be released across all major streaming platforms tomorrow, Friday 25th September, with its official music video premiering at 5pm. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Lovin Malta (@lovinmalta)Blue Bird was composed by Matt Blxck, Matthew James and Muxu, with lyrics penned by the trio alongside Beppe himself.The young singer was directly involved in the songwriting process, working with the team to create the song that will represent Malta on home soil next month.Blue Bird is available to presave from streaming platforms. Beppe was selected as Malta’s Junior Eurovision representative after recently winning The Voice Kids Malta.The 11-year-old from Żabbar started singing lessons at just four years old and has since performed in several productions and competitions.His previous appearances include Malta’s Got Talent as part of La Voix Harmonies, as well as Italy’s renowned children’s song festival Zecchino d’Oro.This year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Malta on 24th October at the MFCC in Ta’ Qali.The running order, which will determine when Beppe and the other participating countries take to the stage, is expected to be announced next week.•
