Eh. If it's the US their insurance can be a wild west. Here you'd get that payout from your own policy and they'd either drag it out of the other guy insurance or no, or eat the cost and everybody would see a small bump in premiums. Granted, other then the time off and some of the prescription stuff, medical costs would be paid for by the medical system anyway If it is real I feel sorry for them. Not enough to pay for the wedding, but still. Personally if I where her I'd have tried the fundraising for the medical treatment.
