Summer 2026 was a particularly hot one for a number of countries around the world… but as far as Malta was concerned, last month alone broke records which have stood for a century.It turns out last month was Malta’s hottest August in 100 years, with popular Facebook forecasting page It-Temp Madwarna breaking down the worrying stats behind it all.With average highs of 35.1°C, August really was something else, barely offering any respite in the evening with average lows of 26°C.The highest temperature registered this August was a sweltering 41°C, on Wednesday 26th.
