Friday's GI Jockey Club Gold Cup Stakes winner Forever Young (Jpn) (Real Steel {Jpn}) has been named the 5-2 favorite for the second Longines Breeders' Cup Classic Future Wager, according to a release Wednesday afternoon from Breeders' Cup. Forever Young is the defending hero of the $7-million GI Breeders' Cup Classic and was named America's Eclipse Award winner as champion older horse.Pool #2 of the Longines Breeders' Cup Classic Future Wager will open on Friday, Sept. 25, at 12 p.m. ET and will close on Sunday, Sept. 27, at 6 p.m. ET. The Future Wager is a $2 minimum bet and is a win wager only. Eighteen betting interests will be available, with 17 unique wagering interests and one “All Others” wager.Betting is offered via Breeders' Cup partner FanDuel, and other advance-deposit wagering (“ADW”) sites, racetracks, casinos, simulcast centers, and off-track betting sites.Following Forever Young in the Future Wager is 3-1 second choice Sovereignty (Into Mischief), last year's Horse of the Year. 'TDN Rising Star, presented by Hagyard' and GI Pacific Classic Stakes winner Knightsbridge (Nyquist) is third at 6-1, followed by another 'Rising Star' in GI Kentucky Derby and GI Belmont Stakes winner Golden Tempo (Curlin) at 8-1 and G1 Dubai World Cup and GI Stephen Foster Stakes winner Magnitude (Not This Time) at 10-1.In Pool #1, which closed Aug. 30, Sovereignty was the 3-1 favorite with a will pay of $8.04 on a $2 wager.
