Quick backstory if you missed the earlier posts: Indeed laid off my wife when she was seven months pregnant. I got pissed and started building a competing job platform. This sub gave us our first users. My wife has since landed a job, the baby is thriving, and I'm still planning to take down Indeed. Last time I posted here, Dreamwork had 7,500 users and we were debating whether we should launch Autopilot (spray and pray fears). We launched it. The video shows its impact ^^ ---- But first a quick, fun story about a software engineer who used Dreamwork. He applied to the first job we recommended, went through about five interview rounds, and got hired. It was the only job he applied to through us. In my head: One step closer to bankrupting Indeed. Obviously that's one person + one application - not going to be everyone's experience. His testimonial is on the homepage now though, which also feels good. Where are we at ? A few numbers from today: Over 10,000 application packs prepared in the last 30 days 2,000 autopilot applications in the last 30 days 49 applications reached the interview stage (!) Autopilot is basically the easy mode button. Only 40% of our paying users have enabled it so far, but I'll just say...it's working. We're also using Opus 5.5 to run thousands of evals every week to improve tailored resume/cover letters. They are getting crazy good. I now would trust in this system for my own resume every single time. Just wanted to check in again with the subreddit where it all started. Come check it out if you're looking.
