BTC Liquidity Map, Sep 22: 87,396 above, 80,126 belowBitcoin / TetherUSBINANCE:BTCUSDTChartZenFXBTCUSDT, 4h, Binance. The indicator on the chart is Liquidity Zones : the red line is the nearest unswept high above price (BSL), the green line is the nearest unswept low below price (SSL). Numbers are from the status line and the cursor on Sep 22; candle times are UTC. What changed since the previous map (Sep 10: 80,560 above, 77,620 below). Below. The 77,620 pool was swept no later than Sep 14 — on the Sep 14 12:00 UTC candle the lower edge already read 76,046. On Sep 16 price went below that one too (08:00 UTC candle: low 75,350). On that candle the lower edge dropped to 62,716, the mid-August low: no closer unswept lows were left. Above. On Sep 18 the 12:00 UTC candle closed at 80,725.60 — above 80,560. Not a wick sweep but a body close beyond the edge: the indicator marked a break of structure (▲) and moved the upper edge to 82,300, the early-September high. On Sep 21 the 08:00 UTC candle closed at 84,887.19 — 82,300 was also passed by a close (no ▲ here: the "Direction changes only" mode marks only a change of direction, and the direction has been up since Sep 18). The upper edge moved to 90,600. Then the impulse stalled. The Sep 21 20:00 UTC candle set a high of 87,395.67 and the next five candles stayed below it — so on the Sep 22 16:00 UTC candle, the fifth after that high, the indicator confirmed it as a swing high (Swing strength 5) and moved the upper edge down to it. 90,600 has not gone anywhere: it is still unswept, just no longer the nearest. The map now. Price ~86,180. Above: 87,396 — the nearest unswept high, 1,214 away. Behind it: 90,600. Below: 80,126 — the nearest unswept low, formed after the Sep 18 impulse; 6,056 away. Between the edges — 7,270 points; price is in the upper part of the range, right under the edge. Two scenarios, both on the 4h close. 1. A wick above 87,396, then an impulse candle closes its body back below 87,396 — the pool is taken (LG mark), reversal down; the nearest target is 80,126. 2. A body close above 87,396 — not a sweep but continuation: the indicator moves the upper edge to 90,600 and the map is redrawn. As long as neither edge is touched, by wick or by close, nothing has happened. Invalidation. Price below 80,126, by wick or by close: the indicator removes the lower edge and moves it to the next low; scenario 1 is off. No LG marks (a confirmed grab: a wick beyond the edge, then an impulse candle closing its body back across it) were printed in the Sep 10–22 window: both up moves (Sep 18 and Sep 21) were breaks by close, not sweeps. Not a forecast. A map of the indicator's levels and the rule for reading it. Numbers are from the chart at the time of publishing.
