The rupee appreciated by thirteen paise against the US dollar during early trading, driven by lower crude oil prices and optimism in the local market. Still, foreign institutional investors were net sellers, offloading equities worth Rs 576.20 crore on Monday. Additionally, the infrastructure sector experienced a slowdown, reaching its lowest output in three months during August.
