Ligent Technologies shares surged nearly 19% in their Hong Kong debut after the Chinese fibre-optic communications equipment maker raised HK$5.67 billion through its IPO. The stock opened above its offer price and gained further before paring back some gains. Strong retail and institutional demand drove the closely watched listing debut.
