Hi everyone, I only have a bit of sooning left to do as my frame should arrive next week. I saw in many posts and videos people complaining about how easy the front plastic gets scratched. I want to make a front cover thingy 3d model and print it out of TPU, to protect the plastic and why not, give the frame some personality. I searched online and found no model officially released by valve so far. So here is my question and request: Is someone able to do a 3D scan of the frame and provide the file so I can start prototyping the cover? Of course I will share it with everyone for free via makerworld/thingyverse.
