Ponmani, second from right, launching civic body’s WhatsApp Chatbot for citizen services on Friday. | Photo Credit: SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTA ‘WhatsApp Chatbot’ for citizen engagement has been launched on behalf of the Tiruchi City Corporation as part of the Namma Arasu initiative.Using the facility, citizens can access the services of the Tiruchi Corporation; register their complaints and track their status. Citizens can access the chatbot in the WhatsApp number 7845252525. Citizens can opt for call back and get information regarding their wards through Know Your Ward service. The service would be available in both Tamil and English, according to an official release.District Collector Pratik Tayal, along with Corporation Commissioner N. Ponmani, launched the service on Friday.
