A creator on TikTok, Anna Grace, posted a video this week walking through the day police put her in handcuffs outside her own home. Her full account includes a hospital visit, a broken window and an alleged confrontation with her husband that ended with her going to jail. The incident happened on March 13, 2026, according to Grace. She had been staying at an apartment for about two weeks. However, she and her husband were still legally married. She says the house was still legally hers and that her belongings remained inside. That day, she texted him about picking up a few things. “I’m gonna come over and get my piano, my wedding ring, a few of my things that I really need,” she says she told him. Grace says he warned her not to come and threatened to call the police. She says police made her leave her own home She went anyway. Grace says he stood in the driveway and blocked her car, then told the responding officer she tried to run him over. “Police officer believes him immediately. Doesn’t really ask any questions,” she says. When the officer told her to leave, she pushed back. “This is my property, my house. She was five months postpartum at the time, she says. Officers drove her to a mental health facility, where a doctor evaluated and released her without admitting her. Her mother picked her up, but her car was still back at the house. That is when she says she discovered her husband’s female best friend inside the house with her baby. With her car locked and the keys inside the house, Grace says she broke a window to get inside. “I have the full and utter right to make that decision,” she says of taking her son back from the woman. She says her husband returned and tried to pull the baby from her arms as she left. After handing the child to her mother, she says her husband shoved her to the ground, leaving her with a concussion, an injured wrist and a knee wound that needed seven stitches. When police returned, she says an officer told her, “We’ve already dealt with your a– today.” When she asked why they weren’t questioning how she ended up bloody, she claims the response was, “You probably deserve it. We told you not to come back.” She was arrested. Her husband was not. Grace’s account could not be independently verified, and neither her husband nor the police department has publicly responded to her claims. Several comments under the video focused on the officers’ handling of the call. “SUE EM ALL!!!! So sorry you had to go through this,” one person wrote. Another zeroed in on the babysitter detail: “She was left alone with your baby.” Grace says she later collapsed in jail, so officers took her to a hospital. There, she says doctors questioned her arrest. “Why is this girl arrested?” they asked, according to Grace, before stitching her knee and returning her to police custody.
