Text is too long, people these days don't read if it's too long. I'm sure they just see "sorry for the late response" and assume you're gonna say yeah it is available and that's it. Cut it up into a couple texts, cut out the explanation and just say... "Yes, sorry for the late response" Then "I will be available Monday after 8pm."
