Running an appointment setting agency for the last 2 years and we have been charging for each appointment we set + a small retainer. Majority of our revenue comes from the per appointment fee. In the past, we've mostly been dealing with other small-medium businesses, but recently, we closed the largest advertising company in a small-ish country as our client, and since then we've been getting more familiar with mid-market and enterprise deals. Although we're only able to book 1-2 meetings a month (excluding no-shows) with bigger companies right now, I'm going to expand and get that number up. I have about 4 prospect meetings in the next 7 days, and I'm planning to quote them different per appointment fee, depending upon the size of the company we book a meeting with, for them (for example, if a company has >300 employees, we'll charge more as the appointment fee) Downsides I can think of, with the dynamic pricing: Incentive Misaligned; Closing rate might go down if we incentivize enterprise deals more as they take longer to close + close less often. Operational/Quotation complexity. Is this dynamic pricing better, or should I find a middle-ground and charge a fixed price? Very much open to advice and suggestions. Thank you. submitted by /u/OpManBros [link] [comments]
