A share in undefeated Arc hero Ace Impact sold for €98,000 to James Smith to top the first edition of the AKTEM Online Stallion Sale on Friday.Also a winner of the G1 Prix du Jockey Club, the son of Cracksman stands at Haras de Beaumont. His eldest foals are yearlings, and two of them made €200,000 and €165,000, respectively, at the Arqana August Yearling Sale.Leading the stallions was the €52,000 Van Beethoven. The G2 Railway Stakes hero and GI Secretariat Stakes second went to SOREC, as did Taj Mahal for €35,000. Both stallions are bound for Morocco.Hicham Debbagh, deputy managing director of SOREC, said, “We are very pleased with this first collaboration with AKTEM and absolutely delighted with the purchase of these two stallions. They have outstanding genetics for Morocco and we have a very good programme in place for them. SOREC is playing its role in improving the genetics of the Thoroughbred breed, enabling breeders and owners to gain access to the best pedigrees. As soon as the health requirements are met, we will be able to repatriate the stallions to Morocco and begin the 2027 breeding season.”Overall, 11 lots sold from 16 offered (69%) for a gross of €282,500.
