The point is that you’re coming across as “it doesn’t affect me that way, so sucks to be you! Deal with it. It is what it is!”, which is the problem with a whole lot of issues that our country has. Pointing out something obvious, that everyone else is also pointing out with a tone of desperation and helplessness, with an indignant attitude is a prejudiced response, and gross.
