I built a step between a UI idea and an AI builder—looking for honest feedback

Wait 5 sec.

I kept running into the same gap when using AI to build interfaces: the first prompt leaves decisions about layout, mobile behavior, and loading or error states for the builder to invent. I built Togve to make that step visible. You describe the interface in plain language; it compiles a structured UI specification; then you inspect the assumptions and refine them before exporting a builder prompt or Markdown spec. I tried it on a small-team project dashboard brief. The output made the activity feed, project metrics, mobile navigation, contrast and focus requirements, and loading, empty, and error states explicit. That does not guarantee the builder will produce perfect code; it gives the builder fewer important decisions to guess. Togve is live: https://togve.com/?utm\_source=reddit&utm\_medium=community&utm\_campaign=togve-launch-2026-09. It takes text briefs and reference URLs; it does not accept repository or binary project uploads at launch. If you already use an AI builder, try it with a real interface you want to make and tell me the first important decision it missed or got wrong. I am especially interested in whether the inspect step makes assumptions clear before handoff. submitted by /u/wiwedoHQ [link] [comments]
