I learn a lot by reading code written by other developers, but I usually only do it when I’m sitting at my Mac. I built CodeMate so I could use short periods of free time to read source files on my iPhone or iPad instead. It supports syntax highlighting for 200+ grammars and file formats, tabs, a minimap, Swift symbol navigation, themes, iCloud syncing, and lightweight editing. It isn’t meant to replace Xcode or VS Code. The goal is simply to make those spare 10–20 minutes useful for learning from real code.
