India needs a five-year roadmap to expand access to genomic testing and targeted cancer therapies for lower-income patients, oncologist Dr Bhawna Sirohi said. A member of the new Lancet Oncology Commission on precision cancer, Sirohi flagged high testing and drug costs and urged their integration into public healthcare schemes.
