NHAI Gujarat MoU: NHAI has signed an MoU with SSNNL to simplify and speed up approvals for National Highway and irrigation projects in Gujarat, while introducing new guidelines to standardise the design of upcoming access-controlled high-speed National Highways. The guidelines cover lane configuration based on traffic assessments, safety provisions for highway entries and exits, and uniform technical standards for four-lane and six-lane Greenfield and Brownfield corridors.
