India’s metal recycling industry has urged the government to take up the country’s exclusion from an EU draft list allowing metal scrap exports to non-OECD nations. MRAI warned the move could disrupt scrap supplies, raise raw material costs for recyclers and increase dependence on virgin materials, particularly affecting MSMEs.
